Joey Grubb

Assistant Director of Athlete Performance & Safety

Joey joined KSI in Fall 2023 as an undergraduate at University of Connecticut. He got his degree in Exercise Science and decided to return as a graduate assistant in athlete performance to pursue a master’s degree in Kinesiology. His research involves tracking athletic trainer services on the ATLAS Project and athlete performance. During his breaks from school, he works as a medical assistant at a pediatric doctor’s office and volunteers with the Miracle League of Southeastern CT. He enjoys playing sports, cheering on Chicago sports teams, and going to the beach.
