With years of experience in both clinical and field settings, Ed specializes in critical care transport, sports emergency care, and injury prevention for athletes. Ed has excelled as a Rotational Athletic Trainer with the U.S. Ski and Snowboard teams, supporting elite and junior athletes on the global stage. His expertise in emergency and alpine medicine has been instrumental in providing medical support at high-profile events such as the World Cup, Junior World Championships, and the 2024 Gangwon Youth Winter Olympics in South Korea. Additionally, Ed has worked closely with USA Bobsled and Skeleton athletes, delivering care at multiple North American Cup events.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions to sports medicine and athlete care, Ed was invited by the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) to serve as a medical provider for Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics. In 2019, Ed co-founded Sports Medicine Emergency Management (SMEM) with Darryl Conway. SMEM has rapidly become a premier education and training program in the United States, specializing in Emergency Action Plan rehearsals for professional and amateur sports organizations, including the NFL, MLB, NBA, collegiate programs, and high schools.
