David holds a PhD from the University of Connecticut, where he focused on the effects of creatine supplementation during heat acclimation. He earned an M.S. in Exercise Science from Southern Connecticut State University. David has authored and contributed to several peer-reviewed publications and presented at major conferences, including the American College of Sports Medicine Annual Conference, the NFL Combine, and the UCONN Sports Analytics Symposium. He is a 3x USAT All-American, represented Team USA at the ITU World Championships in 2019, and holds numerous records and wins in triathlons and endurance races. He currently is the Program Manager and Senior Scientist for the Connecticut Health, Athletic, and Mental Performance Center (CHAMP) as well as an adjunct professor at Southern Connecticut State University. He is also a coach for Charles Coaching & Nutrition Services for Endurance athletes, specifically in the sports of running, swimming, and biking.
