Lesley Vandermark is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University at Buffalo specializing in exercise science and athletic training.  Her primary teaching responsibilities are in the undergraduate Exercise Science program, with additional responsibilities in the Master of Science in Athletic Training Program and Graduate Exercise Science programs. Lesley’s research interests include thermoregulation and hydration practices in exercising individuals, and pedagogy in health professions education.

After achieving a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from California University of Pennsylvania, Lesley went to the University of Connecticut for a Master of Science in Exercise Science, and Doctorate of Philosophy in Kinesiology.  During that time, she worked closely with the Korey Stringer Institute on outreach and research initiatives.  Lesley also previously taught at the University of Arkansas in athletic training and exercise science programs at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
