Tia Chan

Assistant Director Athlete Performance & Safety


Tia joined KSI in the Fall of 2024 as an undergraduate student at the University of Connecticut. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Allied Health Sciences and decided to return to pursue a Master’s in Exercise Science with a focus on athlete performance. During her undergraduate studies, she conducted research on nutritional biomarker monitoring and the evidence-based impact on athlete performance. Her current research focuses on the effects of training load demands on athlete recovery and performance. Athletically, Tia is a member of the Division 1 Women’s Ice Hockey team and competed in the 2022 Beijing Olympics.
